Savera Zachariah has stories in Fractured Lit, Flash Flood, Bending Genres, Ruby Literary Press, and a few others. She writes flash narratives and enjoys experimenting with different forms.

 

For 2025, her work has been nominated for Best Small Fictions 2025, longlisted for SmokeLong Quarterly’s Smokey, and shortlisted for SmokeLong Quarterly’s Workshop prize. In 2026, she was a finalist in Fractured Literary’s 2025 Flash Fiction Open contest.

She is also a food and travel writer published in print and digital publications, including BBC Travel, Al Jazeera, Atlas Obscura, Vice, Deccan Herald, Tehelka, and Mint.
